About The Valve Teck Company

Beginnings

Valve Teck was incorporated in 1990 by Jim and Jan Green. The Green’s started Valve Teck out of their house and represented various valve related equipment primarily for OEM’s (original equipment manufacturers).

The early days consisted of inventory on one side of the garage and Mom’s car parked on the other side of the garage.

Title

As the company grew, Valve Teck began renting small mini storages to keep up with the increasing demand. This continued until 1994, when we officially built our facility on Damascus road in Memphis, Tennessee where we currently have two buildings. Our production and sales staff is located in one building and our warehouse stock, conference and training rooms are located in the other building.

From Distribution To Manufacturing

As the valve and actuator manufactures were bought and sold, and distribution disrupted, we decided it was time to move from a manufacturer’s representative, to manufacturing our own brands of valves, actuators, accessories – cultivated from our years of experience in the valve industry. We have achieved industry recognition though our trademark brands and our flow control patent. These products are now used widely in the Commercial HVAC and Industrial markets.

Today the Valve Teck tradition is as strong as ever, as we continue to serve the valve and actuator industry with an expert staff of sales, engineering, production, and shipping departments that ensure the dream of Jim Green lives on.
